Mom’s Motivation for Raising Money in this Fundraiser
Unfortunately, Joanna lives at a foster home and although I have not lost legal custody, I cannot get her back in my physical custody without first having a home for us to live in. This fundraising campaign my asking for help from the greater community of the world.
Accordingly, Through the grace of God, may there be generous kindhearted souls willing to contribute to my cause, that my daughter and I can be reunified in a safe place to call our own; A new home with beds to sleep in.
Recently, I had total hip joint replacement surgery, and I am currently in a respite recovery center. As soon as I am medically released from this respite center, I am going to be moving into my own place and I need help.
The caseworker says, that once I’m in my own place, I can move to overnight visits for a handful of visits, and then weekend long visits, and then finally Joanna comes home for good. After all, this is how transitioning Joanna home from foster care for reunification of our family is, per the courts.
